A Burning Hypothesis (Legends of Tomorrow)

For those who have yet to watch the Crisis On Earth X four part crossover event on the CW...

One of my favorite characters on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Martin Stein, one half of Firestorm, perished during the crossover event.  

In one last act of selflessness, he drank a serum that severed the Firestorm matrix connection to Jefferson Jackson, so as not to drag Jax to the grave with him.  Stein died so Jax could live.

It was a heartbreaking end to an amazing character!  Of course, this was done because Victor Garber is making his return to Broadway where he will play the character of Horace Vandergelder in Hello, Dolly!

But where does that leave our Burning Man on the Legends team?  Is Firestorm gone completely?  Does Jefferson solely possess the Firestorm matrix?  Or does he need to find another partner?

Remember, after Ronnie Raymond tragically died, Martin Stein needed to stabilize the Firestorm matrix by finding a candidate with the same blood type.  That someone turned out to be Jefferson Jackson.

Now with Stein gone,  it could just so happen that Jax may have to find a candidate to stabilize the matrix.  

Since Stein had Jefferson as a replacement for Ronnie, it seems only fitting that a Ronnie becomes a replacement for Stein.

Not Ronnie Raymond though...

Maybe the Waverider takes a trip 20-25 years into the future and Jax bonds with Martin's grandson.  It would be fitting and very poetic as Martin's last conversation with Jefferson was how he viewed Jax as a son.

FAM (Favorite Arrowverse Moments)

SPOILERS!!

Two awesome moments stood out for me last week, albeit for two very different reasons.

The first was the return of Deathstroke the Terminator on Arrow episode 6x5 Deathstroke Returns.  It's Slade versus a whole bunch of Jackals and it is so badass.

But for me, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is the most entertaining of the CW superhero shows.  

Look no further than the resurrection of Damien Darhk in episode 6x5 Return of the Mack.  He obliterates the Time Bureau to the song of the same name as the episode's title.
