Fantasy Casting X-Factor Investigations

On episode 21 of my podcast, Free Your Geek, I discussed how I'd like to see a Netflix series based on the 2005 comic book  X-Factor Investigations.  It would combine the absurdity and meta humor of Community with the mystery of X-Files and the noir of Angel.

Below I've included who I'd like to see cast for each character.  Now the majority of Netflix's Marvel series cast lesser known actors in each role.  While I did try to stick to that template, there were a few A-list actors I  had to include.

1.  Jamie Madrox/The Multiple Man played by Justin Bartha

I feel that having played Doug in The Hangover movies, Bartha has the comedic ability to be Madrox.

2.  M played by Amber Stevens West

M is portrayed as this statuesque model and socialite.  Amber Stevens West (5'9") from 22 Jump Street could pull off the look.

3.  Layla Miller/Butterfly played by Dakota Fanning

Fanning is the perfect actor to play the child-now-turned-adult Layla Miller.  Her and Madrox's eventual romance would definitely have that "icky" feel.

4.  Rictor played by Diego Boneta

Diego, most recently known from the show Scream Queens, would be amazing as the depowered Rictor.

5.  Siryn/Banshee played by Annaliese van der Pol

Not only does she look the part, but Anneliese could use her amazing singing voice as part of Siryn's power set.

6.  Strong Guy played by Rob Archer

Just look at the size of this dude!  No, the one on the right!

7.  Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane played by Emma Watson

The only big current A-lister to be cast.  I think Emma's acting ability could perfectly portray both Rahne's fragile state and viciousness.

So what do you think of my casting choices?  Who would you pick?  Let me know on Twitter or Facebook.
